Elijah Just, Moussa Yeo and Joseph Opoku all make their Swansea City debuts as Vitor Matos’ side open the new campaign with a Carabao Cup clash with Birmingham City (3pm).

Captain Ben Cabango returns from illness to lead the side, while Filip Lissah makes his first senior competitive start for the Swans at right-back.

Tiago Parente could also make his Swansea bow from the bench, while Zan Vipotnik is in line for more minutes from the bench following his return from a quad injury.

Lawrence Vigouroux is in goal, with Lissah and Cabango joined by Cameron Burgess and Josh Tymon in defence.

New Zealand international Just joins fellow Kiwi Marko Stamenic and Melker Widell in the middle of the park.

Yeo and Opoku provide the width, while Adam Idah leads the lines.
