Team news | Swansea City v Reading

Connor Roberts

Connor Roberts starts at right-back for Swansea City against Reading in the only change from the starting XI at Bristol City.

The Wales defender gets the nod on the right side of defence as Kyle Naughton moves across to left-back in the absence of the suspended Jake Bidwell.

That means keeper Freddie Woodman starts behind a back four of Roberts, Mike van der Hoorn, Joe Rodon and Naughton.

Captain Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton pair up in midfield again and the trio in front of them is also unchanged from Ashton Gate.

Andre Ayew is on the right flank, with George Byers at number 10 and Bersant Celina on the left as Borja Baston leads the line for the Swans.

Kristoffer Nordfeldt is ruled out by illness, so Erwin Mulder takes the goalkeeper's place on the bench.

Declan John also misses out with an ankle injury picked up at Watford.
