Team news | Swansea City v Wigan Athletic

5th November
First team
Russell Martin and Joel Latibeaudiere

Joel Latibeaudiere captains Swansea City for the first time as Russell Martin makes four changes for the visit of Wigan Athletic.

With captain Matt Grimes absent through suspension, and set to not play a single minute of a Championship or play-off fixture for the first time in 104 games, Latibeaudiere leads the Swans against the Latics.

Nathan Wood, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Ollie Cooper and Michael Obafemi come into the side at the expense of Harry Darling, Kyle Naughton, Grimes and Olivier Ntcham.

Steven Benda continues in goal, with Latibeaudiere, Wood and Ben Cabango making up Swansea’s back three.

Oko-Flex - making his first start since joining on loan from West Ham - and Ryan Manning occupy the wing-back slots, with Cooper slotting in alongside Jay Fulton in the middle of the park.

Luke Cundle and Joel Piroe will provide support to Obafemi in attack.
