Thomas Woodward pens new Swansea City deal

Midfielder Thomas Woodward has penned a new deal at Swansea City.
The 19-year-old has extended his stay in SA1 until June 2029, with his previous deal having been due to expire at the end of this season.
Woodward signed scholarship terms prior to the 2023-24 season, before earning his first professional contract two years later.
Woodward has been with the club since under-nine level, and enjoyed a prolific 2023-24 campaign, scoring 30 goals in all competitions across all age groups. He also ended last term with 23 goals across all age groups.
So far this season, he's netted a total of 14 goals, and has been enjoying regular exposure within the first-team environment as part of the club’s academy elite player group.
