Swansea 4-4 Wolves
Barclays Premier League - Saturday, 28 April 2012
Wolves fought back from 4-1 down to earn a point in a bizarre game at the Liberty Stadium.
The home side started on the front foot and took the lead after just 46 seconds as Andrea Orlandi headed in a cross from Scott Sinclair to net his first Premier League goal.
The Swans doubled their lead just minutes later as Joe Allen raced clear of the Wolves defence before seeing his shot deflect past the helpless Dorus de Vries.
Nathan Dyer headed home on 15 minutes to put Swansea 3-0 up and despite Steven Fletcher pulling a goal back for the visitors, Danny Graham smashed in a fourth to restore the three-goal advantage.
But in a bizarre turn of events, Matt Jarvis halved the deficit before the break and second-half goals from David Edwards and a second for former saw Wolves complete a remarkable comeback despite seeing their Premier League status all but end at the Liberty Stadium.
