Swansea 1-1 Hartlepool
Coca-Cola League One - Saturday, 21 January 2006
Welshman Eifion Williams struck a last-gasp equaliser to condemn Swansea to their fourth draw in five games.
Williams made the most of some late pressure to rifle home after being left unmarked inside the penalty area.
The Swans dominated the early exchanges and Leon Britton pounced to put them ahead after Hartlepool goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos failed to deal with Alan Tate's cross.
But Hartlepool rallied after the break with Jon-Paul Pittman smashing the woodwork before Williams' equaliser.
Swansea went on to finish the 2005-06 season in the play-off places, beating Brentford in the semi-finals before losing to Barnsley on penalties at the Millennium Stadium.
