Barnsley 2-4 Swansea
FA Cup third round - Saturday, 7 January 2012
Danny Graham scored twice as Swansea held off a spirited Barnsley side to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The visitors started well and could have been ahead but goalkeeper Luke Steele made two good saves to deny Kemy Agustien and Wayne Routledge.
But it was Barnsley would went ahead just shy of the half-hour mark as Ricardo Vaz Te finished off a fine counter attack.
However, Swansea were level within a minute as Nathan Dyer teed up Angel Rangel who slide an effort beyond Steele.
The Swans stepped up the tempo after the break and Graham scored his first with a sublime 30-yard strike into the top corner, before Dyer finished well after a fine run and cross from Routledge.
Barnsley did pull a goal back through Vaz Te, but Swansea progressed to the fourth round in the closing stages as Graham scored his scored of the afternoon following good work from Routledge and Joe Allen.
