Toshack delighted for Baker-Richardson

Cameron Toshack was delighted to see Courtney Baker-Richardson make his debut for Swansea City Under-21s this week.

The 21-year-old striker came off the bench to help the young Swans come from behind to beat League Two side Cheltenham Town at the LCI Rail Stadium on Tuesday.

“We are delighted for Courtney,” said Toshack. “He only joined up with the group this week, so we knew he probably wasn’t going to be fit enough yet to play an entire game.

“But the impact he had off the bench on Tuesday night was really pleasing.

“He is a physical player and stood up to the battle well. We hope we will see more from him throughout the season.”
