TRANSFER DEADLINE DAY: Barrow completes Leeds loan
31st January
Gambian winger Modou Barrow has joined Championship side Leeds United on loan for the rest of the season.
The 24-year-old links up with former boss Garry Monk - who signed him for the Swans in 2014 - while he will join fellow Liberty team-mates Kyle Bartley and Matt Grimes at Elland Road.
Barrow has made 19 appearances for the Swans this season, and 55 in total - scoring twice - since his arrival from Swedish side Ostersunds in July 2014.
He became the first Gambian to play in the Premier League when he came off the bench in the Swans' 2-1 win over Arsenal four months later.
His temporary move to Leeds sees him play in the Championship for a third time following previous loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers.
Barrow joins a Leeds side that is currently fourth in the Championship - seven points off an automatic promotion spot.
He becomes the third player to be loaned out on transfer deadline day by the Swans after Marvin Emnes joined Blacburn Rovers and Under-23s midfielder Tom Holland moved to Fylde.
