Tremmel aiming for career highlight

19th February

Gerhard Tremmel says lifting the Capital One Cup on Sunday would be the biggest achievement of his career.
Michael Laudrup's side are potentially just 90 minutes away from glory as they prepare to face League Two side Bradford in the Wembley showpiece.
Tremmel has played a key part in the run to the final, playing in every round including two clean sheets against European champions Chelsea in the semi-final.
And the German stopper is looking forward to what he describes as the 'biggest game of his career'.
"If Swansea won the cup it would be a massive achievement," he said. "And it would be massive for me as well - the best of my career.
"You play football for the opportunity to win trophies and I haven't yet had that, so this could be the last chance I get.
"I've never been to Wembley before, but I am really looking forward to it. I have grown up watching English football and finals at Wembley and you always want to play there.
"It would cap a good season for me, and it would be a great highlight in my career if we could go on and lift the trophy."
Tremmel has enjoyed a fine season at the Liberty Stadium, making 18 appearances in all competitions.
Following a groin injury to Michel Vorm back in October, the German keeper was thrust into the spotlight and played a starring role as the Swans went on to reach their first major final in 100 years.
But they face a Bradford side who have been on an incredible run this season, beating three Premier League sides on their way to their first final since 1911.
And Tremmel believes Phil Parkinson's men cannot be taking lightly.
"In a one-off game, anything can happen," he said. "They have beaten Wigan, Arsenal and Aston Villa and have earned the right to be in the final, so we have to take them as a very tough opponent.
"In Germany the cup competitions have got more and more financially interesting for clubs, so the bigger teams are always trying their best to reach the final.
"It is also the best way to get into Europe so there is that incentive as well. But if Swansea could win and get into the Europa League, then it will be fantastic."
