Turners Coachways to provide fan travel service for away fixtures
Swansea City is pleased to confirm that Turners Coachways Ltd will provide coach travel for supporters attending away fixtures from February onwards.
The current providers National Express, who have provided a service so far during the 2021-22 season, will continue to supply away travel until the end of January and Swansea City would like to thank them for their service and professionalism to our travelling Jacks.
Swansea City and Turners Coachways have a long history with Turners Coachways having previously provided the coaches for the Swans Travel Club for over a decade. They also are the official transport partner of the first team.
The Swans Travel Club has been run by volunteer supporters who have been engaged and consulted throughout this process, along with the Supporters' Trust, who fully endorse the new service providers.
The Swans Travel Club have decided not to continue with their service at this point, and Swansea City extends its gratitude to them for all their efforts and dedication to the club and its supporters over a number of years.
Kevyn Jones of Turners Coachways said: “Turners Coachways are pleased to be providing this service to Swansea City to transport supporters to away fixtures, and we very much look forward welcoming the Jack Army onboard our coaches in the near future”.
Swansea City has agreed to act as ticketing agents for Turners Coachways to enable its supporters to be able to purchase their away tickets and coach travel in one transaction.
We hope this will provide for an enhanced and convenient service for fans, and we thank those supporters who follow us the length and breadth of the county.
The service will allow for pick up and drop off at the following locations:
- Swansea.com stadium (this may vary slightly if there is an Ospreys home fixture on the same day).
- McDonalds Briton Ferry.
- Port Talbot Bus Station.
- Sarn Services.
