U18s: Price keen to end year on a positive

9th December

Under-18s midfielder Tom Price wants to end the year on a high in Premier League South when the Swans face Fulham at Motspur Park on Saturday (12.30pm).
The match is the final league test of 2016 for the academy side who saw last weekend's game against Brighton postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A goal in each half from striker Liam Cullen helped the young Swans to a 2-2 draw against Fulham at Landore in September and Price feels they will go into the game with confidence.
"We want to end to year on a high," said the 17-year-old. "We have been scoring a lot of early goals but still need to finish games off.
"Fulham will be a tough team to play as they are a big and physical side. We played really well against them a few months ago but didn't do enough to get the win.
"Despite that, we can go there with confidence and aim to get the three points this time."

The young Swans were denied a first home victory of the campaign by a stoppage-time penalty in their last league game against Norwich.
The result means the under-18s are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions and Price is confident they can extend that run this weekend.
"If you look at the league you would think we have not been playing well, but we have been unlucky conceding late goals," he added. "If we can start to see games out we will climb the table.
"The postponement of the last game have given us a chance to have a break to recover and work on some bits in training.
"Our aim will be to get three points tomorrow to move off the bottom of the league before the Christmas break."
