Swansea City Under-23s will find out their Premier League International Cup quarter-final opponents at 11am on Thursday.

The young Swans progressed to the knockout stages of the competition as Group D winners, following their impressive 4-0 victory over Everton on Monday.

The development side also enjoyed a resounding 5-1 success against two-time winners Porto B, while holding former finalists PSV Eindhoven II to a 1-1 draw.

It is the first time in three years that the under-23s have advanced beyond the group stages, having last achieved the feat when they reached the semi-finals in the 2016-17 season.

Arsenal, Derby and West Ham are among the other teams in the hat for the quarter-final draw, along with Benfica, Monaco and Wolfsburg.

“All the boys are excited. Whoever we play, it’s going to be tough, but we must just concentrate on ourselves,” said skipper Jack Evans.

“Going to a team like Everton and playing the way we did shows we can go into the quarter-finals and not worry about any team.

“We’ll just go out knowing we can beat teams and keep clean sheets.”

Fans can follow the draw on Twitter from 11am on Thursday.
