Legends of Swansea City and Cardiff City came together at Penybont FC last Sunday to help raise money for Jason Bowen, following the former Wales international’s diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease.

Swans club ambassador Lee Trundle, Andy Robinson, Matthew Bound, John Williams, Danny Gabbidon, Andy Legg, Graham Kavanagh and Scott Young were among those to feature.

Bowen represented both clubs during his playing career, which spanned 23 years and neatly 600 league appearances.

The fundraising fixture was arranged to raise money for Bowen and his family, as well as raising awareness of the disease, which has no cure.
