Vital Statistics | 2024-25 Season

With the 2024-25 season in the books, we look at some of the key facts and figures from the campaign.
1 – Only one player played every minute of Championship football for the Swans during the 2024-25 season; Lawrence Vigouroux.
3 – Swansea’s 11th-placed finish was three positions higher than the 2023-24 season, and they also claimed four more points with a tally of 61 to 57.
3 – From the point of Alan Sheehan’s appointment – initially as caretaker head coach – Swansea City had the third-best record in the Championship with 24 points from the final 13 games. Only Leeds United (28) and Burnley (35), the division’s top two, could boast a better record in that period.
7 – Ronald and Josh Tymon had seven assists apiece over the season. No-one in the Swansea squad had more.
12 – Liam Cullen emerged as Swansea’s topscorer with a career-best goal return of 12. His three assists meant he also had the most goal involvements of any Swansea player.
14 – Lawrence Vigouroux kept 14 clean sheets over the 2024-25 season. Only the keepers for the top three teams in the Championship (Michael Cooper, Illan Meslier and James Trafford) kept more.
17 – Seventeen Swansea City players got on the scoresheet across all competitions.
29 – Swansea used 29 players across their 49 games in all competitions.
81 – Josh Tymon created a staggering 81 chances over the course of the season. That was the most of any Championship defender, and the only player with more was Middlesbrough midfielder Finn Azaz (88).
125 - Gonçalo Franco made 125 successful tackles, only Derby’s Ebou Adams (145) made more in the second tier.
260 – Ben Cabango made 260 defensive clearances over the course of the season. That was the best such tally in the Swansea squad, and the third highest among all Championship players.
