Following Swansea City's opening league fixture at Blackburn Rovers and Tuesday's win over Reading FC in the Carabao Cup, we take a look at some of the key facts and figures from the away contests.

Blackburn Rovers

- Jamie Paterson netted for Swansea on Saturday, making him the first Jack since Morgan Gibbs-White (1-0 win against Preston North End last season) to score on his debut for the club. Paterson is the only Swan ever to get his debut goal against Blackburn Rovers.

5 - Swansea recorded an average pass streak of five against Blackburn, which is a number only bested once last year (the Swans recorded an average of six against Sheffield Wednesday on November 25, 2020). Last season, Swansea matched their average against Blackburn just six times: Watford (A), Derby County (A), Cardiff City x2, Wycombe Wanderers (A), Birmingham City (H).

571 – The Swans strung 571 total passes together against Blackburn, which is the highest number they’ve managed since March 2020.
