Vital statistics: Middlesbrough

​​​​​​​Swansea City bounced back from defeat at Stoke by securing a creditable draw at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

We check out the key numbers after the Riverside stalemate.

4 – Erwin Mulder’s shutout at Middlesbrough means the Swans have now banked four clean sheets in nine league games this season. They managed a total of nine in 38 Premier League outings last term.

Following Leeds’ 2-1 home defeat by Birmingham over the weekend, only one team in the second tier has a better defensive record than the Swans – Middlesbrough. The Teessiders have conceded a meagre three Championship goals so far.

Just four Championship teams have taken fewer home points than the Swans so far this season, although Potter’s side have played only four games on their own patch while many have had five.
