Swansea City suffered their first defeat of the season against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, here we look at the key facts and figures from the game.

1 – This was Swansea City’s first defeat under Steve Cooper, and their first of the 2019-20 campaign.

1 – This also marked the first time in 2019 that a visiting Championship side had won at the Liberty Stadium.

2 – Nottingham Forest have now lost just two of their last 13 league meetings with Swansea, excluding play-off fixtures.

3 – This was just the third game in 28 games over the last 12 months in which the Swans failed to net at the Liberty. Aston Villa and Forest (twice) are the only teams to shut out Swansea in SA1 in that period.

3 – Cumulatively there were just three shots on target, the lowest in a fixture involving the Swans since their return to the Championship.

20 – It had been 20 games since Swansea had previously drawn a blank on home turf, dating back to Boxing Day 2018 when Aston Villa won 1-0 at the Liberty.

379 – Alfa Semedo’s winner for Forest was the first goal Swansea had conceded in 379 minutes in all competitions. Jordan Hugill’s header for QPR had been the previous occasion where the Swans defence had been breached.
