Although the game ended in a 1-0 defeat, the Swans had some stand out performances against a strong West Ham side. No goals were scored but Pablo Hernandez created a number of chances for the Swans as he looked dangerous on both flanks. Ben Davies was fantastic down the left both in attack and defence, whilst Swansea's German goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel saved the Swans on numerous occasions in the opening minutes.
