'We must be brave' says van der Hoorn

Mike van der Hoorn has told his Swans team-mates to be brave once again as they seek a fourth consecutive Championship against QPR this afternoon (3pm).

The Swans head to Loftus Road on the back of consecutive victories over Brentford, Middlesbrough and Stoke City at the Liberty.

While Graham Potter’s side have enjoyed home comforts, they are without an away win in the league since the 4-1 triumph at Reading on New Year’s Day.

But Van der Hoorn, who scored in the 3-1 win over Stoke on Tuesday, has challenged the Swans to repeat their recent eye-catching performances when they take on the Hoops on Saturday.

“We’ve had some results go against us - especially our away games - but we still have to be brave, do the same things and be confident we can win," he said.

“Our recent performances have been really good. The football we have played has been very pleasing.

“It’s not easy to play like this, but we trust each other’s quality and we help each other out when we’re under pressure. Everybody can play with a man on his back or under pressure, so that’s not a problem. The quality we have is good enough to recognise that.

“Everybody has to be ready all the time. If one guy doesn’t do his job then the whole team is in trouble. When everybody’s focused, everything clicks and that’s a joy to watch.”
