World Cup joy for Swans loan star

18th June

Jonathan de Guzman helped Holland edge closer to booking their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup after they beat Australia 3-2.
The Dutch had led 1-0 before coming back from 2-1 down to claim a second consecutive victory in Group B, with Louis van Gaal's side close to assuring themselves of a place in the last 16.
Midfielder de Guzman, who has spent the last two years on loan at the Swans, featured for 78 minutes before being replaced by Georginio Wijnaldum.
Swans keeper Michel Vorm was an unused substitute for Holland, who face Chile in their remaining group fixture on Monday.
