Wrexham away fixture chosen for live Sky Sports coverage
Swansea City’s Championship fixture at Wrexham has provisionally moved to a new date after being picked for live television coverage by Sky Sports.
The game at the Racecourse Ground is currently due to take place on Friday, March 13 and will kick-off at 8pm.
In the event that Wrexham AFC v Hull City, scheduled for Tuesday 10 March, is required to be moved to Wednesday 11 March due to FA Cup scheduling the previous weekend, the fixture will be moved to Saturday 14 March (8pm KO). The fixture would remain on Sky Sports Football.
The Swans will head to north Wales having won the reverse fixture in December thanks a last-gasp winner from Adam Idah, which secured a 2-1 victory.
The clash with the Dragons will mark Swansea’s first visit to the Racecourse since the sides met in the 2006 FAW Premier Cup final, when the Swans were 2-1 victors.
Ticketing information for this game will be shared in due course.
