Swansea City’s home Championship fixture against Wrexham has a new date after being selected for live television coverage by Sky Sports.

The fixture will be shown on Sky Sports Football, and will mark the first time the two sides have met in a league fixture for 22 years.

The game had originally been due to take place at 3pm on Saturday December 20, but will now take place on Friday December 19, with kick-off at 8pm.

Three other Swansea games have been chosen for coverage on Sky Sports +.

The Swans trip to St Mary’s to face Southampton remains on Saturday October 18, but will kick-off at the earlier time of 12.30pm.

The away fixture at Bristol City on Saturday November 22 remains at 12.30pm, having already been moved to an earlier time as a result of a safety advisory group request from both clubs.

The other match affected is the trip to the Potteries to face Stoke City on Saturday December 13, which moves from 3pm to a 12.30pm kick-off.

These selections mean that the times and dates of all fixtures through to FA Cup third-round weekend in January are now confirmed.
