Yannick Bolasie debut for Swans

Yannick Bolasie is hoping he can add to some fond Swansea.com Stadium memories as he prepares for a potential home debut against Huddersfield Town on Saturday (3pm).

The experienced winger signed for the Swans on a short-term deal earlier this week, and then made a bright cameo appearance from the bench at Leeds.

The 34-year-old showed glimpses of what he can offer in the final third as he continues to build up his match fitness, and got a tremendous reception from the away end at Elland Road.

Bolasie has his sights set on helping Swansea return to winning ways against the Terriers and, having relished the experience of playing in SA1 previously in his career, he hopes he can make an impression.

"It was a great feeling to get on the pitch against Leeds, and particularly the reception from the fans," he said.

"The result did not go away, so the aim has to be to try and turn it around at home.

"I am looking forward to Saturday, for any team these home games are important.

"My memories from when I have played at the stadium before have been of the atmosphere being electric.

"This time I'll have all the fans behind me in a Swansea shirt. I've had some really good games there and I hope I can do the same again."
