Young Swans begin at Leicester

26th July

Swansea City Under-23s will begin their 2018-19 Premier League 2 season away at Leicester City on August 13.

The young Swans will be aiming to build on the impressive fourth-place finish they achieved in their first season in the top flight of development football last term.

Their opening fixture of the new campaign sees them to travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester, who finished third last year.

They then welcome Derby County to Landore on August 20, while visits to Everton and Liverpool (on August 27 and September 15 respectively) sandwich a home fixture against Chelsea on September 3.

Other dates for the diary include October 1, when the Swans host Manchester City, while they welcome reigning champions Arsenal to Landore exactly four weeks later.

The Swans end their season with the return fixture against City on April 26, while their meetings with Tottenham Hotspur will take place on November 2 (away) and April 15 (home) respectively.

*Fixtures are subject to change and a full list will be available next week.
