Zan Vipotnik and Josh Tymon were named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season at the annual EFL Awards on Sunday.

The awards, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, recognised the best of the Championship, League One and League Two clubs on and off the field.

Vipotnik - who was also up for Championship Player of the Season, eventually won by Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney - has enjoyed an outstanding campaign in his second year in SA1, leading the way as the league's topscorer with 21 goals.

Tymon has nine assists to his name this season in the Championship, and remains one of the most consistent figures in Vitor Matos' side. He was named in a back four alongside Callum Doyle, Tristan Crama and Milan Van Ewijk.

Vipotnik led the line in the Team of the Season alongside Coventry’s Haji Wright.

"It's a nice achievement for both of us. I've shown people what I can do and I still hope to be in this spot as top scorer at the end of the season. We'll work hard for the final three games to finish strongly," said Vipotnik.

And there was a third Swansea City award of the evening when Tymon's wonder goal against Oxford United picked up the Goal of the Season award.

Amongst a shortlist of five goals - also including superb efforts from Shea Charles, Dylan Lawlor, Abdul Fatawu and Reyes Cleary - Tymon's stunning left-foot volley was the one to claim the top spot.

"As a player, it's the moments that you dream of, the ball dropping down at the edge of the box and putting it in the top corner, said Tymon.

"I'm immensely proud, and sometimes I don't give myself enough credit. But the individual awards tonight have made me realise what I've managed to do this season."
