Zeidane Inoussa close to return
Zeidane Inoussa is nearing a return from a back injury, while Josh Key is making good progress in his recovery from a hip injury ahead of Swansea City’s Championship trip to Leicester City.
Winger Inoussa has been sidelined since the final week of January due to a stress fracture to his back, but he has played a full part in training this week ahead of the meeting with the Foxes.
Key, meanwhile, could be in contention to return for the final two games of the season against Norwich City and Charlton Athletic.
“The squad is in a good place, Zeidane has returned to train and he is back with the team,” said Matos.
“Of course he still needs to adapt a little bit to the training to feel sharp and fully fit again, which is not easy after the sort of injury he has had.
“It is important he gets back into a rhythm in terms of training and exposure to games, we want to be careful with him but he is training, he is available for selection. It will be about the right time to bring him in.”
“Josh is making steps in his recovery, he will probably be available for the last two games of the season, but we will need to see how the next days go but that is the plan.”
