Swansea City Football Club and leading global telecommunications giant Vodafone are pleased to announce a multi-season partnership to enhance the supporter experience around the Liberty Stadium as well as rewarding Vodafone customers.

Voted the UK’s best mobile network for the last two years, they will become the club’s first Hospitality Partner and Headline Partner to the City Business Network, the club’s business focused members club launched this season.

Chris Pearlman, Chief Operating Officer of Swansea City, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Vodafone to the club. We’ve been working closely with them over the last two years to improve connectivity within the stadium and look forward to developing this further as part of the partnership.

“Because of some recent infrastructure upgrades at the Liberty, those on the Vodafone network enjoy a very strong connectivity at matches. We are working to improve access for all supporters moving forward.

“Furthermore, as part of the arrangement Vodafone have agreed to enhance our mobile coverage at Fairwood which directly benefit the first team. Whenever an allegiance of brands results in a true partnership they will always flourish. I am excited to see how we can develop the relationship moving forward.”

Mark Davies, Global Head of Partnerships and Sales, added: “As we grow our partner portfolio, welcoming leading brands to the club is always a testament of the work behind the scenes at the club, especially those who share our values of enterprise and innovation.

“As such I’m extremely proud to bring Vodafone to the club and look forward to not only their presence on a matchday but also the opportunity to work together to enhance the local business community here in South Wales.”
