150 Premier League matches: Manchester United 1 Swans 2

11th May

With just three games left to play this season, it has been another memorable campaign for Swansea City.
Aside from achieving their highest ever points total and the possibility of their highest league finish, the Swans have also enjoyed a number of unforgettable wins since winning promotion to the Barclays Premier League in 2011.
Next Monday's game against Arsenal on May 11 will be our 150th Premier League match and to mark the occasion we have selected eight of the most memorable wins to look back on.
The next match in this special feature comes from August 2014 as the Swans visited Manchester United on the opening day of the season...

Manchester United 1-2 Swans
Old Trafford - Saturday, August 16, 2014
The Swans made a dream start to the 2014-15 Barclays Premier League campaign with a historic 2-1 victory at Manchester United.
Summer signing Gylfi Sigurdsson scored Swansea's winner with just 20 minutes remaining, having also teed up Ki Sung-Yueng's first-half opener before Wayne Rooney acrobatically levelled for United early in the second half.
Ki gave the Swans a shock 28th-minute lead with his first goal for the club, nestling the ball into the bottom corner with a precise finish from 18 yards.
The hosts, led by Louis van Gaal for the first time, were level after the interval as skipper Wayne Rooney fired in from close range.
But Monk's men rallied again and stunned Old Trafford as Sigurdsson saw his effort just cross the line despite the best efforts of David de Gea following Wayne Routledge's cut-back from a Jefferson Montero cross.
After a historic FA Cup victory at this ground last season, Monk's men then celebrated a first ever league win as the final whistle blew.
The Swans then made yet more history in the reverse fixture this season as they completed their first league double over the Red Devils after a 2-1 win at the Liberty Stadium thanks to goals from Ki Sung-Yueng and Bafe Gomis.
