Alan Sheehan | Deepdale assignment a different kind of test

Alan Sheehan has told his Swansea City players they will need to be ready to roll up their sleeves if they want to get a positive result against Preston North End tonight (7.45pm).
The Swans head to Deepdale looking to get more points on the board on the back of their victory over Blackburn Rovers last time out.
They face a home side buoyed by their impressive 3-0 win over local rivals Burnley in the Emirates FA Cup at the weekend.
Preston have also not lost on home turf since November 2, and caretaker head coach Sheehan insists the Swans travel with no illusions as to the task ahead of them.
“I have never come away from Deepdale thinking I have had an easy game, and I do not expect it to be any different this time,” said Sheehan.
“This will be a different challenge to Blackburn, they have a different way of playing. We have had some days to prepare and the message will be clear to the players.
“You have always got to try and back up good performances. We have to find the best way of matching how we want to play with how we can hurt our opponents.
“You have to find a way to be competitive in games within your approach.
“We are going away from home, so it’s a different test and the important thing is to find a consistent level. That’s what we need, to be competitive in every game.”
