Alfie Mawson earns England Under-21 call-up

Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson has been called up by England Under-21s for their international fixtures against Italy and France.
The 22-year-old centre-back has earned his first taste of international football on the back of an impressive breakthrough month in the Premier League.
Mawson impressed on his Swans debut against Watford in October, before holding on to his place in Bob Bradley's first-team line-up for Swansea's trip to Stoke on Monday night.
The former Barnsley player will now be hoping he can build on his promising start to life in the Premier League when England face Italy at Southampton's St. Mary's Stadium on Thursday, November 10, before travelling to Paris to play France Monday, November 14, as they begin their preparations for the Euro Finals.
