Amat sidelined for remainder of campaign
7th May
Swansea City defender Jordi Amat has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Spanish centre-back missed last weekend's home win over Stoke City at the Liberty with a foot injury - and a scan this week revealed a broken metatarsal.
Amat, who filled in at left-back during Neil Taylor's recent suspension, made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Swans this season.
The 23-year-old also signed a new one-year contract extension in March, which ties his future to the club until June 2018.
Meanwhile, Dwight Tiendalli has been recalled from his loan spell at Middlesbrough. The Dutch international made two appearances for the Championship club during his temporary switch.
Jazz Richards is also back at the Liberty following his loan move to Fulham, for whom he made 14 appearances.
Both players are available for selection for the remaining three games.
