Angel's delight with amigos

17th June

Angel Rangel has revealed Swansea City's very own Mr Motivator, and then praised the impact made by his fellow amigos.
The Spanish contingent at the Swans rose to four last summer following the arrival of Rangel's fellow countrymen Pablo Hernandez, Michu and Chico Flores.
All played their part in the Swans' historic campaign, which included a first major trophy via the Capital One Cup and a ninth-place finish in the Barclays Premier League.
And Rangel, who swapped Spain for Swansea in 2007, has hailed the Spaniards' impact in their first season at the Liberty.
"It has been a pleasure to play with them. On the pitch they are top players, and off the pitch they are a very good group of lads," said Rangel.
"The Spanish influence at the club has been very important in the club's success, going back to when Roberto (Martinez) was here as a player.
"It's great to see Swansea City having such a strong connection with Spain.
"I'm really enjoying it here and the other Spanish lads feel very comfortable and settled here. We spend quite a lot of time together."
With 22 goals to his name after a phenomenal debut campaign in the Premier League, Michu stole much of the limelight around SA1.
And Rangel pointed out it's not just the former Rayo Vallecano midfielder's goals that have benefited the team.
"Michu affects you not just in terms of his goals, but it's also his workrate on and off the ball. He goes for it 100 per cent - he is not afraid of anything," added Rangel.
"When you see a player like that, it motivates you even more. It's great to see the passion he has.
"This season he has been a leader when he was playing as the lone striker. He showed the whole team that we will go for it.
"He drags everyone into the game. His finishing, his runs into the box, his tackling - it's fantastic.
"Everything about his game really motivates us individually."
Angel Rangel features on the club's 2012-13 review DVD entitled "The Golden Year", which will be in stock very soon via the Club Shop and online.
The two-disc DVD has four hours of special content, with the story of the season, exclusive interviews with the management and squad, highlights of every league and cup game, along with extra footage all part of the package.
