Coach Anthony Wright felt Swansea City Under-21s' performance against Millwall was worthy of more than a point following a dominant performance in a 1-1 draw at the Joma High Performance Centre.

Elias Mansor opened the scoring on the cusp of half-time ensuring the visitors held the lead at the break.

The Swans had the better of the contest and created numerous opportunities, but were unable to make them count with Callum Jones, Thomas Woodward and Morgan Bates all going close.

But Sam Parker struck late into the second half to salvage a point on home turf. The age-grade side still remain unbeaten so far in 2026 with three draws and one win under their belt.

"It's certainly one that's got away. We dominated the game from start to finish, and the only thing we haven't done is put chances away in what could have been a high-scoring game," said Wright.

"It was one of those days where we just didn't finish off those openings in the final third. At half-time, the message was the same, just to carry on what we were doing and that goal will come.

"We were dominant and we wanted to maintain that. From a team perspective, we have to do better when it comes to being clinical. But in terms of creating chances, dominating territory, everything was there.

"A few first-year scholars started, and in total nine were involved in the squad again. They all did brilliantly and it's also a great experience for them.

"Some of the older boys have then had the chance to train up in the first team this week, so it's about creating that pathway which is a key aim for us as a club."
