As the Swans get set to face Birmingham City on Friday night, we bring you a fan's guide to St Andrew's to improve your matchday experience.

Seat allocation

Up to 3,000 away supporters are housed in the lower tier of the Gil Merrick Stand, where the facilities and views of the pitch are good. Food on offer includes a selection of pies as well as pasties, sausage rolls, burgers and hot dogs.

Parking

There is a small car park directly outside the entrance to the away end, but spaces are limited, while there is a private car park on Coventry Road, which will be closed for 45 minutes after the game. Alternatively, there is plenty of street parking available on the left-hand side of the ring road, behind the BP garage. Elsewhere, some local schools and businesses offer parking for £5.

By train

The nearest station is Bordesley, which is about a 10-minute walk from St Andrew’s but is only served by trains from Birmingham Moor Street and Birmingham Snow Hill.

There are several options for you if you arrive at New Street station in the city centre. You can either walk to Moor Street station, which is 10 minutes away, take a taxi for around £9 or embark on the 30-minute walk to St Andrew’s.

The three to three-and-a-half journey to Birmingham New Street begins in Swansea at 12.29pm, 1.29pm and 2.29pm, while the only return journey of the evening departs at 10.12pm.
