AWAY DAYS: Leicester travel information

17th April

Leicester City v Swansea City
Saturday, April 18 (3pm kick-off)
Address: King Power Stadium, Filbert Way, Leicester, LE2 7FL
Telephone: 0844 815 6000
Web Site:www.lcfc.co.uk

What's it like? Away fans are in the North East corner of the stadium, where the view of the playing action is good.

Pubs and grub - The ground is approximately a 15 to 20-minute walk from the city centre, where there are plenty of pubs to be found.
Most of the pubs near to the stadium are for home fans only.
A highly recommended pub is the 'Counting House' (LE2 7LH), which welcomes both home and away fans, with all the normal facilities on offer. The pub is towards Staples, past the Local Hero pub (LE2 7LB), which now accepts away fans, and the Mecca Bingo Hall.
Alternatively, 'The Font' (LE2 7DP), on Gateway Street, offers a wide selection of beers, including real ales and good value matchday food. The pub is a 15-minute walk away from the away end.
For those arriving via train, 'The Hind' (LE2 0PD) is across the road from the station and also serves real ales.

Parking - There's street parking to be found around the Upperton Road area and streets running off the A5460 by the railway bridge - a 15-minute walk away from the stadium.
There is also parking available at Leicester Rugby Club (£3), which is a 10-minute walk away, and Saffron Lane Sports Ground car park (£3.50). There are 300 spaces available on a first come, first served basis, which are open two hours before kick-off.

By train - Trains leave Swansea at 7.28am, 8.28am and 9.28am for the four-and-a-half-hour journey. Heading back to Swansea after the game, trains run at 5.18pm, 6.18pm and 7.18pm.
