What's it like? Up to 3,000 away fans are in the South Stand behind the goal. The facilities are good, with big concourses and large screens showing the game. There's a wide range of food, while lager, bitter, cider and wine are also sold.

Pubs and grub - There aren't many pubs near the stadium. Away fans should avoid the Queen Victoria pub and Mary D's as well as pubs on Ashton New Road, which is behind the away end. There's a large area outside the ground for fans to eat and drink before and after games.
The Stanley Sports Bar (M11 3QW) admits away fans (£1 entry, kids free) and is a ten-minute walk to the stadium.
The Townley (M11 3QW) is a five-minute walk from the stadium. The pub has a good atmosphere and away fans are advised to arrive early without showing colours. The Manchester City Supporters' Club has a social bar opposite the North Stand that, on occasions, allows away fans in.
City centre  pubs like Printworks, near Victoria station, has a connecting tram service from Piccadilly. There are loads of pubs and plenty of choice of food in the city. It's a 30-minute walk or £7 taxi to the stadium.

Parking
- Parking at the stadium is £10 per car. The East car park is best for away fans, but getting away after the game is a nightmare. Some other car parks charge around £7-£10 per car, and getting out of them is much easier.

By parking - The closest station is Ashburys, which is a 15-minute walk from the stadium. It's a 25-minute walk from Piccadilly station to the stadium or a £7 taxi ride.

By metrolink - The Metrolink stop at the stadium is Etihad Campus.

By bus - Buses from Piccadilly Gardens to the stadium are £2 each way. The 216 and 231 go from the city centre to the stadium. On the return, the buses leave from Ashton New Road across from the away end.

By train - The only train to Manchester Picadilly leaves Swansea on Saturday at 7.50am, getting in at 1.15pm, so a hotel is needed for that night. Return trains leave Piccadilly at 4.07pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.07pm on Sunday.
