What's it like? The Britannia is an impressive sight, perched high on a hill. Excellent facilities are available in the ground, with good views of the pitch as well as alcohol sold in the bars.

Hotels - The 'North Stafford Hotel' (ST4 2AE) is right outside the train station, with 'The Plough Motel' (ST4 4EN), 'Kenwood Guest House' (ST4 2DP), 'Wheatsheaf Hotel' (ST1 4LW), 'Victoria on the Square' (ST1 4JH) and 'Quality Hotel' (ST15NB) not far away.

Pubs and grub - The student union bar at Staffordshire University (ST4 2DF) on Leek Road campus is the nearest big venue to the train station, and the police generally escort the buses there. The venue is exclusively used by around 500 away fans. Buses to the ground and back cost £3.50.
Also near the train station is 'Terrace Bar' (ST4 2BW). The shuttle bus to the stadium stops outside the pub and costs £3 for a return trip, stopping at the pub after the game.
There's a Holiday Inn Express (ST4 4EG) and Harvester (ST4 4TL) next to the ground. Also close to the stadium is a Power League complex (ST4 4TN) that has a bar with Sky TV and allows in away fans.

Parking - Unfortunately, there is not a lot of parking near the ground, while you need to book to use the official car park, which can prove difficult to get out of.
There are 300 parking spaces available at Screwfix Direct (ST4 8GR) for the price of £4. It's a mile away and gives a quicker getaway onto the A50 after the game. There's parking (around £5) at the industrial units on Great Fenton Business Park (ST4 4LZ), a signposted ten-minute walk from the ground.
The Harvester (ST4 4TL) next to the ground costs £3 while the Power League complex (ST4 4TN) charges £4.50.

By train - Stoke railway station is a two-mile hike or £6 by taxi. Stoke is a four-hour train journey from Swansea on the 7.24am, 8.24am, 9.24am and 10.24am trains. Returning, the trains are at 5.45pm, 6.44pm, and 7.44pm.
