Barrow pleased to be back on the goal trail
16th December
Modou Barrow was delighted to be back amongst the goals as the Under-21s beat Bristol City on Monday.
Barrow set the visitors on their way to victory by opening the scoring midway through the first half, finishing well from six yards after Kenji Gorre crossed from the left.
The Swans sealed the win in the second half as Barrow set up Adam King to smash home - with the result extending the squad's unbeaten run to ten matches.
It was Barrow's fifth goal for the Under-21s since arriving from Ostersunds FK in September, with the Gambian winger having already made his senior bow in the Premier League.
"We played very well," said Barrow. "We kept the ball moving and everyone did their jobs. We are on a great run, still top of the league and we just keep working hard.
"It was great to get a goal. n the games I have played recently I haven't scored but managed to get an assist, and it was pleasing to get another one and get back on track.
"For me, the important thing is the team to win. There are games when I haven't scored, but I have set up goals as well."
