Belief and persistence key to a change in results, says Morgan Whittaker

Morgan Whittaker is confident belief and persistence will pay off as Swansea City target a return to winning ways on Saturday.

Steve Cooper’s side head to Millwall this weekend looking to end a run of four consecutive Championship defeats.

The Swans also failed to find the net in those losses, but Whittaker insists the Swans will be full of belief when they head to London.

“I think when you go through a run of results like we have, you can’t allow yourself to panic,” said the striker.

“You must believe in what you’re doing, and know that things will change.

“When we score our next goals, I just know that the goals will flow from there.

“If you doubt yourself and change this and that, I don’t think that helps things.

“We know the results haven’t been good, but we will go into games knowing that we are a good team and that we will turn the results around.”
