Ben Cabango eyes Swans success after signing new deal

Ben Cabango has his sights set on tasting success at Swansea City after putting pen to paper on a new contract at the Liberty Stadium.
The 20-year-old defender has signed on the dotted line on terms through to the summer of 2025, having enjoyed another fine campaign following his first-team breakthrough last term.
The Wales international recently passed 50 appearances for the Swans, and has been part of a defensive unit that has kept 18 clean sheets in the Championship.
Having continued to make strides in his game, the centre-half is keen to repay the faith shown in him by the Swans.
"It's massive for me to have got a new contract sorted, and it just gives me that bit of security for the long term," said Cabango, whose previous deal had been due to expire in 2023.
"I feel I have really improved since coming into the first-team environment, and I want to continue to do that because I feel there is still an awful lot for me to work on if I am going to be the player I want to be.
"So, the challenge for me is to keep working hard with the coaching staff - who have been so good with me and so supportive - and look to put in good performances for this club.

"The club have shown a lot of faith in me from the moment I joined, and I want to repay that faith by helping the club to be successful in the future.
"We have had a good season to date, we are heading into the final stages, and it's about going out there and finishing strong.
"We have the derby coming up, which is always a big game, and we want to make sure we head into the international break on the back of a positive result and performance."
