Jason Scotland struck twice as Swansea ended a run of eight successive draws by beating ten-man Burnley at Turf Moor.
Scotland put the Swans in front from the penalty spot on 34 minutes after being man-handled by Michael Duff, who was given a straight red card.
And with four minutes remaining the Trinidad & Tobago striker got his 11th goal of the season, converting Mark Gower's pass from close range.
Chris McCann had Burnley's best chance as they struggled to get into the game.
