Peterborough United 1 Swansea City 3
League Cup - Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
Scott Sinclair scored a sensational hat-trick as the Swans booked their spot in the fourth round of the tournament.
The winger, who had joined the club from Chelsea the previous month, took his tally to seven goals in his last eight appearances thanks to a scintillating treble at London Road.
Sinclair got the scoreboard ticking over in the fifth minute as he fired home, only for Peteborough to level 60 seconds later via Craig Mackail-Smith.
The Swans were ahead going into the interval, though, as Sinclair latched onto David Cotterill's through ball before beating keeper Joe Lewis.
And Sinclair rounded off a fine night in the 78th minute by grabbing his hat-trick after fine link-up play by Joe Allen and Stephen Dobbie.

Championship - Saturday, February 27, 2010.
David Cotterill sent the Swans on their way to victory at the Liberty as his penalty proved the difference against Peterborough.
The Wales international kept his cool from the penalty spot after he was fouled by Charlie Lee, with this result providing the Swans with their 19th clean sheet of the campaign.
The victory was tainted by the injury sustained by Ferrie Bodde, however, with the Dutch midfielder making his first start in six months.

Championship - Saturday, December 5, 2009.
Sub Lee Trundle scored twice in six minutes as the Swans were denied victory by Aaron Mclean's last-gasp equaliser.
The Swans had trailed to Chris Whelpdale's strike ten minutes after the restart, but Trundle - on for Cedric van der Gun - levelled soon after being introduced.
And Magic Daps looked to have earned the Swans all three points when he held off his marker before firing home on the turn.
But Mclean stunned the visitors as he steered home George Boyd's cross past Dorus de Vries in added-on time.
