The Swans gained revenge for their 2-1 defeat at the Vetch earlier in the season by convincingly beating Southampton 4-1 on their home turf.
Goals from Terry Medwin, Ivor Allchurch, Bryn Jones and Harry Griffiths handed the visitors victory in a season in which they finished 11th while Southampton finished in the bottom two relegation spots.
Medwin's impressive form in front of goal saw him finish as the club's top scorer with 17 goals while Allchurch was also prolific with 15.
