Bony deserves warm reception, says Dyer

16th May

Nathan Dyer expects former Swan Wilfried Bony to receive a warm welcome on his Liberty return on Sunday but hopes Garry Monk's men can keep him quiet.
The Swans host Manchester City in SA1 this weekend as Bony makes a return to South Wales for the first time since leaving Swansea for a club-record fee in January.
The Ivory Coast international, who scored 25 goals in 54 league appearances for the Swans, became a firm fans favourite amongst the Jack Army during his time in SA1.
And Dyer believes his former team-mate will receive a great reception on Sunday, but hopes the Swans can ensure Bony doesn't make a goal-scoring return.

"I hope he gets a great reception from the fans, and I think he will," said the 27-year-old winger.
"He's a great guy, a good friend, and he did amazing for us with his goals.
"He still speaks to some of the other boys and I to see how we're doing and also to say good luck. I know he still looks out for the club.
"He came here not knowing about this league, and he's grateful to this club for helping him.
"It will be good to see him, but hopefully we can make sure he doesn't score on Sunday."
