Bony's big boost for Swans

11th December

The Swans have received a big boost for their crucial Europa League tie in St Gallen after Wilfried Bony travelled with the squad to Switzerland today (Wednesday).
The club-record signing has missed the last three games with a hamstring problem sustained in the Europa League defeat to Valencia.
But the 25-year-old has been declared fit enough to fly to St Gallen with the squad for the final game in Group A.
His inclusion bolsters Michael Laudrup's attacking options, which also includes Michu after the Spanish international returned in Monday night's draw with Hull.
Keeper Michel Vorm is also included in the squad, with the club managing the knee problem that ruled him out of Monday's clash, while Angel Rangel is also among the travelling players following a calf injury.
Leon Britton (broken toe) and Garry Monk (knee), however, have not flown with the squad as they are recovering from injuries.
The Swans face St Gallen on Thursday (6pm GMT) knowing they need just a point to finish second in Group A and qualify for the last 32 of the tournament.
The game will be shown live by ITV4, coverage starts from 5.30pm.
