Cameron's loving his loan spell
Cameron Carter-Vickers is enjoying developing his game at Swansea City as he waits for his big opportunity under Graham Potter.
The centre-back, who is on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur, has managed four appearances so far for the Swans.
Two of those came from the start during the 1-0 defeat at Stoke City and 3-1 home win over Blackburn Rovers.
And while the 20-year-old is hopeful of banking more game-time after the international break, he insists he’s enjoying his time at the Liberty.
“I’m really enjoying it. I get on very well with the boys and it’s been a good experience so far,” said the American defender.
“Hopefully I will get more opportunities, but I know we have good defenders who are playing well so it’s tough getting into the team, but in the games I’ve played I think I’ve put in some good performances.
“So it’s a case of waiting for my next opportunity and taking it.
“The manager knows what I can do and when he selects me I’ll be ready.”
He added: “The style here really suits me. Having played in the youth teams at Tottenham I like to be on the ball.
“The manager here wants us to play from the back and through the thirds, so it’s been a smooth transition working under Graham.
“The manager and his coaching staff are very good. The training sessions are excellent and I feel I’m developing under them.”
