Canas: We can complete Italian job

27th February

Jose Canas insists Swansea City have the quality to beat the odds - and Napoli - to continue their European adventure.
Rafa Benitez's side, who are only in the competition after exiting the Champions League via goal difference, host the Swans in the second leg in Naples tonight (6pm GMT).
The Italians are the bookmakers' favourites to progress at the Stadio San Paolo, but Canas feels the Swans' performance from the opening leg at the Liberty - which ended 0-0 - has given them hopes of advancing to the last 16 stage.
"We got a really good result in the first leg, though we would have liked to have scored," said the Spaniard. "Now we are in Naples and we hope to get a good result to advance to the next stage, which would be a massive achievement for this club.
"We are not the favourites but we have a big chance to win and we will try our best to do that.
"I think they will be a different side at home compared to the one we played at the Liberty. I think they were expecting a different Swansea, but we went onto the pitch with a lot of intensity and emotion.
"I expect the game to be different as they are at home in front of their fans, but we need to have the same will and determination.
"If we do that then we can achieve a lot of things."

Canas has featured heavily in the club's domestic and European campaigns this season.
Since his summer move from La Liga side Real Betis, the 26-year-old has made 31 appearances for the Swans.
And he revealed he's loving life since swapping Spain for Swansea.
"I am really enjoying it here in Swansea - life is very relaxed compared to Spain," he added. "I have adapted very well to life in Wales and the style of football in the Premier League.
"The team here is very close-knit. I think that shows in our performances on the pitch.
"We are like a pineapple - it's a Spanish saying, which means we are very close.
"I hope to stay at Swansea City for a long time."
