Cardiff City Women 0 Swans Ladies 2

16th March

Swansea City Ladies bounced back from their first league loss of the season with a 2-0 win at Cardiff City Women on Sunday.
Despite dominating the derby and creating plenty of chances throughout the first half, it wasn't until the stroke of half-time that the deadlock was broken courtesy of Jodie Passmore, who fired home from Katy Hosford's pass to record her fifth goal of the campaign.
After the break, the Swans continued to control the game and doubled their lead with an impressive 64th minute lob from the edge of the box by Sarah Adams.
The victory ensured Swans Ladies retained second place in the Welsh Premier Women's League - 15 points adrift of Cardiff Metropolitan Ladies with three games in hand, and one point clear of third-placed PILCS Ladies.
