Bersant Celina is delighted to see experienced duo Wayne Routledge and Nathan Dyer making an impact for Swansea City.

The wing duo were handed recalls to Graham Potter’s starting line-up at Brentford, and marked their first action in over two months by having a part in all three of the Swans’ goals in a thrilling 3-2 triumph.

They retained their places against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend and impressed again, with Routledge scoring the winner from a Celina assist as the hosts came from a goal down to win 2-1.

Kosovo international Celina – who scored the Swans’ equaliser against the Owls to register his third goal of the season – only moved to the Liberty Stadium from Manchester City in the summer.

But he is well aware of what Routledge and Dyer – the two longest-serving players in the first-team squad – have done for Swansea City and he is pleased to see them performing well.

“I had heard about Wayne Routledge and Nathan Dyer before I came to the club and the impact they have had here over the years,” said the 22-year-old.

“They have been amazing and I am so glad to see them playing again. They both work so hard in training. They are very talented players and bring good experience.”
